A fine early 19th Century French silver mounted Percussion Hunting Pistol, with engraved steel lock depicting a hunting scene on a full walnut stock with a 23cms (9'') two stage steel barrel with horn tipped ram rod, the ornate silver mounts and furniture in the rococo style with hunting scenes and scrolling foliage, the butt cap with a seated lady holding a gun with dog by her side, 40cms (16'') overall.
