1914-15 Star Medal Trio Officer 9th & 10th London Regiment, group was awarded to “2.Lieut E SAMUEL 10/LOND R”, rank of “CAPT” on British War and Victory medals. Remain in good condition. Edward Samuel served as an officer with both the 9th and 10th London regiment. He first served overseas at Gallipoli with the 1/10th, arriving on 20th September 1915. He was awarded the Silver War Badge on 24th July 1918.

Scarce WW1 and Territorial Medal Group of Four Royal Navy and 10th London Regiment, interesting group consisting of British War and Victory medals “M.24965 A C WRIGHT CAR CR RN”, George VI Defence medal privately named “A C WRIGHT” and George V Territorial Force Efficiency medal “440 SJT A C WRIGHT 10/LOND REGT”. Medals are court mounted. Accompanied by a selection of various City of London shooting medals, some engraved to him and some Hallmarked Silver. Territorial Force Efficiency medal was awarded in July 1914. Very few TFEM’s awarded to members of the 10th London regiment.

Interior with leather sweatband and cloth lining.

Bullion wire work to the peak. Officers two piece silver gilt Victorian helmet plate to the front. Bullion embroidered plume socket and black swan feather plume. Gilt metal lion head side bosses with velvet backed linked officers chinstrap. Interior with leather sweatband and crimson lining having gilt tooled J B JOHNSTONE details. Fine example with all the bullion work remaining bright.
Rare Edward VII City of London Imperial Yeomanry (Rough Riders) Officers Lance Cap, superb example of an officers helmet with French blue cloth mortar board top having thick bullion cord crossing to each corner. Leather body with gilt bullion wire and embroidered bullion wire to the peak. Helmet is complete with its original officers silver gilt helmet plate to the centre. Bullion embroidered plume socket holder with cipher of Edward VII to the centre. Blue swan feather plume with officers gilt plume socket fitting. Interior complete with leather sweatband and crimson lining. Accompanied by a black and white photograph, believed to be of the original owner of the helmet, wearing full dress uniform including this helmet. A superb example of a very rare helmet.
Lanarkshire Yeomanry Officers Lance Cap, black leather body and mortar board top, black ribbed cloth surround of the top. Officers silver gilt two piece helmet plate to the centre. Lion head bosses holding velvet backed linked chinstrap. Gilt metal devices to the corners of the mortar board. Circular metal plume boss with regimental button to the centre. Complete with leather sweatband to the interior and only partial remains of the officers cloth lining.
Post 1902 The Border Regiment Officers Home Service Helmet, blue cloth example with fine gilt metal kings crowned officers helmet plate with silver and enamel device to the centre. Velvet backed chin scales and rosette side bosses. Cross base with rosettes and spike fitting. Gilt metal front trim and rear spine strap. Leather sweatband to the interior. Samuel Brothers Ltd tailors details to the interior of the helmet. Some light areas of mothing to the blue cloth but much of the gilt wash remains to the fittings.
Prussian Reserve Officers Pickelhaube, very interesting example for an Army Pharmacist (Apothecker). Leather shell with square dip peak having silver trim, silver scaled chinstraps with officers pattern state and national cockades. Silvered officers helmet plate with gilt reserve cross to the centre. Cruciform spike base having gilt metals securing stars and removable white metal officers spike. Helmet has officers style leather sweatband and cloth lining. Helmet is housed in its original storage box. Some wear and one securing star loose but otherwise a nice example of a scarce helmet.
Imperial German Garde Pioneer or Garde Fusiliers Reserve Officers Helmet with Parade Plume, superb example having leather shell with officers frosted silver garde pattern wrap round eagle and large enamelled star burst to centre with gilt reserve cross underneath. Gilt scaled chinstraps with state and national officers pattern cockades. Circular spike base with gilt metal securing stars. Fitted to the helmet is the parade pattern black horsehair plume, this is in need of a little restoration with the top mount being loose. Helmet is complete with its original leather sweatband and officers style cloth lining. Helmet is housed in its correct large pattern leather storage container box.

Cruciform cross base with gilt brass securing stars and screw on officers spike. Officers pattern state and national cockades. Interior with officers leather sweatband having gilt tooled makers details and green cloth lining. Very good condition example.

Double edged blade with central ridge. The blade is etched with foliage and Fire Brigade motifs to the central panels of both sides. Carl Eickhorn makers trade mark to the base of the blade. Complete with the original leather and nickel silver mounts. Blade 33 ½ cms, overall 48cms.

Large circular pommel with brass mobile swastika to the centre, blue leather covered grip retaining the wire binding, feathered cross guard with mobile swastikas to the centre. Housed in its original blue leather covered scabbard with nickel silver mounts. Fine polished double edged blade having SMF Solingen trade mark to the base. The blade 66 ½ cms, overall 87cms.
Luftwaffe 1st Pattern Officers Dress Dagger by Emil Voos, circular top pommel with brass mobile swastika to the centre of each side, blue leather covered grip retaining the wire binding, cross guard with central swastikas. Attached to the handle is the officers dress portepee. Housed in its original blue leather covered scabbard with nickel silver mounts. Ring attachments but hanging chains absent. Engraved to the reverse of the top chape is Luftwaffe gul over initials. Double edged plain blade with makers trade mark logo to the base. Blade measures 31cms, overall 49cms.
