A silver and pink guilloche enamel part dressing table set and sundry other part dressing table sets Condition Report: 4 piece engine turned dressing set - dent to mirror back, a few other small dents and some wear. Brush bristles are in used condition.Embossed brush, clothes brush and mirror - overall good, slight wear and dents in line with age and usage. Button hook, glove stretchers and comb - damage to sprung mechanism of glove stretchers, otherwise fair.Circular EPNS box - plating worn away.Enamelled set; brush - damage to enamel at join of handle. Mirror has damaged enamel in same place and a small dent to silver at one side. Circular powder jar - overall good. Trinket box - damage to enamel at front of cover, material lining a bit tired.
A silver and blue guilloche enamel dressing set, Birmingham 1930, of seven pieces Condition Report: Mirror good, glass intact. Brushes generally good, the bristles are stiff and they do not appear to have been much used however the colour is a little brown. One candlestick has small chip to enamel foot rim, marks a little rubbed from polishing. The other candlestick has two areas of chipping to enamel foot rim it has also been broken through the stem and repaired badly, the weighting beneath is also a later replacement.
A George II silver cream jug, G S, London 1759, of pear shape on shaped feet, inscribed and a silver spectacle case, George Unite, Birmingham 1881, containing a pair of steel framed spectacles, approximately 110gm Condition Report: Jug - inscribed to front with name and date. Slight bends and wear, repair to top of handle and one leg slightly pushed in to body. Spectacles - marked Adamantine. Case - monogrammed to one side, slight dents and wear but basically sound.
A William IV silver vinaigrette, John Taylor & John Perry, Birmingham 1836, of book form, the silver gilt interior with pierced grille Condition Report: Slight wear to initials and to engine turned decoration to covers. Corners slightly bumped. Gilt interior generally good with clear marks.
A George II silver mug, Richard Gurney & Thomas Cook, London 1754, ogee shaped on a skirt base, 8cm high, approximately 90gm Condition Report: Slight wear and scratches in line with age and usage. Small bend to foot rim. Marks fairly clear, initialled AK beneath. A good repair to lower part of handle where it joins body.
