Crowned star pattern mounted with Garter and laurel wreath; the black velvet centre with Edinburgh Castle in silver. The wreath mounted with silver scroll "The King's Own Borderers". Boer War London Scottish Victorian Officer's 1899 Edinburgh hallmarked silver plaid brooch. A very fine example by R & HB Kirkwood, 66 & 68 Thistle St. Edinburgh. Plain burnished quoit mounted with crowned thistle sprays, the cross of the crown extending beyond the top of the quoit. To the centre, a Lion Rampant; below the sprays, a scroll inscribed "The London Scottish". Stout pin to reverse. VGC This design was introduced in 1886. A fine and rare die-stamped example by WD (William Dowler) Crowned ornate shamrock sprays, below the crown a disc with monogram "IRV", below the disc the Harp. A scroll at the base, "Erin Go Bragh". Three screw posts to reverse. VGC Initially the 64th (Liverpool Irish) Rifle Volunteers based at 9 Everton Crescent, Liverpool. redesignated 18th (Liverpool Irish) Rifle Volunteer Corps in 1880, and the 5th (Irish) Volunteer Battalion, The King's (Liverpool Regiment) in 1888.

Large crowned oval strap inscribed "33rd Lancashire Rifles"; to the centre, three lions in pale. Three screw posts to reverse. VGC 33rd Lancashire Rifles (2nd Manchesters) raised in 1860, renumbered 20th in 1880. 1888 redesignated 5th (Ardwick) VB Manchester Regt. and became 8th (Ardwick) Bn. Manchester Regt. in 1908.

26th (Customs) Middlesex Rifle Volunteers Officer's 1862 London hallmarked silver pouch belt plate. A very fine and scarce die-stamped example by PF (Philip Firmin). Oval strap inscribed "Pro libertate patriae" surmounted by a Saxon style Crown, to the centre, a shield charged with three lions. Two screw posts to reverse. VGC Originally raised in 1860 by Customs Officers in the London Docks, renumbered 15th Middlesex RV in 1881 .

Imperial crowned five pointed star, superimposed on a disc bearing honours between the star rays. Mounted on the star, a circlet "Goorkha Light Infantry" with "1" entwined with "2" within a triangle formed by three kukris. Three screw posts to reverse. VGC

Silver Order of the Thistle Star mounted with gilt oval bearing the legend "Nemo me impune lacessit. The Royal Regiment"; within the oval, the pierced Order of the Thistle Collar, St.Andrew and Cross to centre set on a rich blue replacement enamel ground. Reverse with brooch pin. VGC Blue enamel centre worn by Officers of the 1st Battalion, green enamel by those of the 2nd Battalion.
19th (1st Yorkshire North Riding) Regiment of Foot Victorian Officer's shoulder belt plate mount. A very fine example circa 1840 comprising a cut silver elongated eight pointed star; mounted on the star, a gilt crowned roped circlet with seeded "XIX" to centre on a rich green translucent domed ground. Fittings absent. VGC 19th Foot (1st York North Riding) became The Princess of Wales Own (Yorkshire Regiment) in 1881.
