EARLY 19TH CENTURY COMMEMORATIVE MARQUIS WELLINGTON PEARLWARE JUG commemorating the victory at Salamanca, the cream ground painted in enamels with Wellington on horseback to one side and an inscription to the reverse 'The Greatest General of the Age...'.With foliate silver lustre banding and handle. 14.5cm approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Poorly crazed with staining in places. Chip to the lower area of the handle. Loss to the silver lustre in places. Some very minor fritting.
19TH CENTURY OAK SEA OR SILVER CHEST having metal banded mounts and heavy cast iron loop carrying handles. 86 x 54 x 64cm approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Rather worn and tired condition, lots of the metal banding is missing, splits in placs. Interior overall appearing ok. Replacement to the bottom, probably pine.
18TH CENTURY OAK CASED 30 HOUR LONGCASE CLOCK by James Pepper, Biggleswade, the case later and having stepped moulded hood above square aperture, plain rectangular door panelled base. 11" square approx brass face with silver chapter ring and pierced spandrels, Roman numerals and date aperture. Single train movement, strikes on one bell.(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Later case, re-cased. Includes pendulum which is broken but no weights. The door to the face is present but is detached and the glass is very loose.

(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Appearing in good condition overall, the hinge lid is working well. Minor wear as expected especially to the interior which is rather grubby and a little bit of rusting to the hinges. Overall the hallmarks are reasonably clear.
UNUSUAL SILVER STIRRUP CUP in the form of a hare's head by Richard Comyns of London 1965 with silver gilt interior and naturalistic decoration. 17.5cm high approx. 8 troy ozs approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Good clear hallmarks. Some wear and tarnishing with age, appears to be a white substance which is easily removed. The silver gilt interior in very good condition.
WILLIAM III BRITANNIA SILVER TWO HANDLED BALUSTER PORRINGER with reeded band above half lobed base. Britannia silver hallmark for 1701 with engraved initials FBM to the base. 11.5cm diameter approx.7.5 troy ozs approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Generally dented and misshaped through years of use and handling. No obvious repairs. One of the handles is detached from the body with a hole at the base. Hallmarks are easily legible with the exception of the makers cartouche which is half worn away.
