THE ROYAL HUNT CUP, ASCOT, 1948 won by MASTER VOTE (About Maitre-Plebiscite), Owners H. G. & G. Blagrave, Jockey Rae Johnstone. A superb silver gilt two handled cup and cover on ebony plinth. Made in London 1908 by Messrs Hutton. Weight 60ozs engraved one side with the result, the other with a large Royal Crest.

A VERY GOOD PAIR OF SILVER GILT TWO HANDLED TAPERING HORSE RACING CUPS AND COVERS, the lids with a jockey on a horse, and the handles with lion masks, complete with circular onyx bases. (In unused condition and not engraved). London 1971 and 1973, the onyx bases slightly different, each cup and cover 50ozs. 100ozs for both. (Would make ideal trophies for an important horse race).
