Made by the order of the Dean and Chapter of St Paul`s Cathedral, London, with another without inscription to base (3) 970 gms (Lot subject to VAT).
A Victorian truncheon marked "St. Gregory Parish Sudbury", together with a walking stick with Birmingham silver collar CONDITION REPORTS Truncheon length approx. 42 cm, overall with wear, scuffs, craqueleur to finish, quite a lot of wear to decoration particularly to grip and edges, large shallow chip to side of truncheon which appears to have been re-coloured in and the whole of the "V" re-painted, some chips and losses to decoration. Walking cane with knocks, chips and scuffs, tip missing, splits and wear to collar, knob handle appears to be a later replacement.
