A Motorcycle Trophy. A delightfully-crafted and well-detailed representation of a 1920s single-cylinder flat tank motorcycle, fashioned in silver, with an assay stamp of Birmingham dated 1929. Mounted on a black plinth, it incorporates an engraved assayed-silver plaque inscribed, 'Calder Valley M.C. - Dr Stephen Award - 1929. W. Naylor'. In need of cleaning, but charming. 4½-inches high
A Donington Presentation Plaque inscribed 12-Hour Sports Car Race 1937, Winner – A. D. Bateman. Given by the Derby & District Motor Club, Impressed ‘silver’ verso, with its presentation box. Also, three assayed silver and enamel medals dated 1934, inscribed Bateman, each with their delivery boxes, and two RAC Rally lapel pins and a silver enamel tie pin with what appears to be the BRDC SCH Davis inspired racing car depiction centrally mounted, and other items. A group of items associated with the December 12th 1952 celebrations: a programme and table plan, a menu with the signatures of table 38, two souvenirs offered by Lucas Ltd being a rare brush and grooming set and a bottle opener given by Shell & BP, both with gilt BRDC insignia. Also, a 1938 TT No 23 armband, several Donington programmes and a BRDC Silver and Golden Jubilee presentation books, paddock passes and lapel (card) Brooklands passes. (Qty)
A c1950 Thanet Silver Light. With a 24-inch frame numbered SL1472, retaining its original chromium-plated front and rear forks but with a repainted black frame with Thanet decals applied. Other features include a combination Sturmey Archer four-speed hub gear (dated 1951) and a Constrictor gear-change operated from a down-tube control, centre-pull Mafac brakes, red Bluemels mudguards, 15-inch aluminium drop handlebars fitted to a GB extension and a narrow Brooks racing saddle. The ensemble incorporates matching 27-inch Alumlite wheels, front wheel spinners, bell, bottle carrier and a near-side lamp bracket. Although in sound condition, there is a small dent in the side of the top tube.
A SPANISH MIQUELET LOCK BLUNDERBUSS, 16.75inch two-stage barrel inlaid with a gold maker's tablet at the breech TE over NAS, further silver inlays and elliptical muzzle, border and scroll engraved lock, full stock profusely inlaid with horn and bone plaquettes, scroll engraved brass mounts, wooden ramrod. Forward ramrod pipe lacking.
A FINE 18TH CENTURY FOWLING PIECE BY ELLIS, 48inch sighted three-stage barrel, finely chiselled at the breech with scrollwork and a Green Man mask on the top flat, the foliate silver rear sight supported to either side by a Green Man mask, border and scroll engraved bevelled lock signed H. ELLIS, full stocked with steel mounts, the pierced scrolling foliate sideplate with eagle's head terminal, horn tipped wooden ramrod.
A 16-BORE SILVER MOUNTED PERCUSSION SPORTING GUN BY BOND, 31inch sighted damascus barrel inlaid in gold on the sighting flat W BOND LONDON in Gothic script, border and finely scroll engraved breech and barrel tang, the latter also featuring the face of a green man, border and scroll engraved stepped lock with gold maker's tablet for W.BOND, platinum vent, half stocked with hallmarked silver mounts engraved with hunting scenes, later steel ramrod, together with a worn percussion sporting gun and a kabyle. A VIKING SWORD OF PETERSEN TYPE K, 77.5cm blade in excavated condition, pattern welded double edged blade, characteristic hilt with exaggerated segmented domed pommel, the foot of the pommel decorated with Celtic strapwork and retaining good amounts of original silver inlay, the spatulate form guard decorated to match and also retaining good amounts of original silver inlay.

A FINE QUALITY 80-BORE SCOTTISH PERCUSSION BELT PISTOL BY MURDOCH, 5inch tapering white metal two-stage barrel engraved with scrolling foliage, border and scroll engraved signed lock, full white metal stock profusely engraved with scrolling foliage and panels of Celtic strapwork, the ram's horn butt decorated with scrolling foliage, the left grip further decorated with a panel of thistles, the right grip applied with a faceted stone set within a silver thistle mount, the pricker in the form of a thistle head, the back strap applied with a silver escutcheon engraved TM, turned steel ramrod.

A 1796 PATTERN INFANTRY OFFICER'S SWORD BY PROSSER, 81cm flattened diamond section blade etched FOR MY COUNTRY ET KING on either side, further decorated with stands of arms, Royal arms and scrolling foliage, all highlighted in gilt and with traces of blued ground, regulation copper gilt hilt, silver wire bound grip, contained in the upper half of its scabbard, the throat with maker's panel.
