Shedplate 27C, Southport from June 1950 until September 1963. Face painted, rear unrestored. This plate shows signs of the bolts being cut off with a torch. Together with a BR(W) C/I, round base Signal Finial painted red and silver and undamaged.

BR(W) Swiss made Pocket Watch number 04207 with an wonderful, fully hallmarked silver chain. The enamel dial shows B.R.(W) 04207 and the second hand below. There are a couple of touched-in chips between 10 & 11 and also between 4 & 5, also, a little crazing. The rear of the case is engraved with the same. The top ring has, at some time broken so the chain is affixed via a normal loop. This doesn't detract, anyone with spare watch parts could replace easily. It belonged to an ex BR Guard, who later became an Inspector. Appears to be in full working order but not guaranteed.
