An artist's silver travelling palette; rounded rectangular and fitted with fourteen paints set within a divided gilded interior; hinged cover; the base signed Tiffany, numbered, and marked 'sterling'. 13.8 x 4.8 cmCondition report: Excellent condition. The box is fitted for watercolour tablets and has individual apertures. These are made by Newton and Windsor. The box has been made to accommodate the paints and does not appear to have been retro-fitted. It is in very good condition, with only slight surface scratches commensurate with age and some light use. There is the shadow of a monogram to the cover under a 10 x loupe. The gross weight (which does include the paints) is 279 grams.
