Silver Epergne with three arms, three dishes and three flower tubes. Has a repair to one arm which obliterates the hallmarks on that arm. All other pieces bear hallmarks for William Hutton & Sons, Sheffield, 1920. It has an interesting inscription stating that "this item was presented by the parents of Pilot Officer John H.D. Hammond who was killed on active service 3.10.43". Some research enclosed. Weighs 75oz approx
Three Albert pattern spoons, comprising of two silver tablespoons, (1 – Exeter, 1873 and the other London, 1890), plus one teaspoon (hallmarked for London, 1891). Probably, all shooting prizes. Teaspoon inscribed "2nd Bn. J.L.I. (Jersey Light Infantry) 1st. Recruits’ Prize, WJN 1892". Total weight of silver is 7 ¾ oz approx
Five bright-cut decorated silver fiddle pattern tablespoons, four made by the Jersey Silversmiths C.T. Maine(two) and J.P. Genge (two). Hallmarked for London, 1894, 1898, 1904 and 1919. Plus 1 tablespoon for Sheffield 1904. Probably all shooting prize spoons. Total weight of silver is 10 ounces approx.
