The larger box, the lid is slightly sprung.

WALKER & HALL; a good and large pair of late Victorian hallmarked silver loaded candlesticks, each with fixed sconce above wrythen wreath embossed central column to Adam style stepped square sectioned base with gadrooned rim, Sheffield 1899, height 34cm.Additional InformationBoth overall in good condition, both stand true there are no holes, the hallmarks are clear. If being ultra critical there are a few knocks and tiny dents around the base, slight rubbing to the raised decoration.
An impressive George VI hallmarked silver Art Deco twin handled trophy cup and cover of substantial size, the stepped circular lid above swept body with angle handles and inscription 'The Butler Trophy for Inter-factory Annual Competition Presented by A.S. Butler Esq 1938', Sheffield 1938, height 45cm, approx 90.65ozt/2820g.Additional InformationThe finial is leaning to one side and has been slightly compressed. There are a few tiny dents around the rim but overall minor surface scratches only to the body and is a very handsome piece.

SAMUEL WOOD; a George II hallmarked silver Warwick cruet stand with high loop handle, cinquefoil main section with scrolling cartouche indistinctly engraved and raised on four shell supports, London 1741, height 21cm, approx 22.6ozt/704g, sold with five associated glass bottles, three with silver mounts.Additional InformationThe main cruet frame itself is solid with no damage or repairs as mentioned the engraving on the cartouche is a winged mythical beast but this is indistinct. The hallmarks are legible to the base both the stem and handle carry partial marks, there is very slight misshaping to the frame. Some of the glass jars are damaged and have various marks.
