A four slice Victorian silver toast rack formed as the word “TOAST” with ring handle on four ball feet, the underside with registered number and inscribed by the retailer “Thornhill & Co. Bond St. W”. Atkins Brothers, Sheffield 1888. Wt. 222gm CONDITION REPORT: Very good condition. Each letter individually part marked and fitted with screwed nuts, base fully marked. Very slight bending down of corners. Circular scratches around the nuts on the underside.No other defects noted.

Central stone heavily included, mild abrasion to facet edges and minor nibble to girdle, diamond SI2 colour J-M (assessed in mount)

CONDITION REPORT: Very good with no dents or dings but two high spots worn through on cherubs noses. No sign of incipient wear through elsewhere.

Five pairs of George III silver sugar tongs comprising a cast pierced pair, J. McFarlan, Circa 1770, a right angle bow pair, Stephen Adams, 1789, a bright cut pair, W.W. , and two plain old English pairs, total wt. 162gm., together with a pair of continental white metal tongs. CONDITION REPORT: Cast pierced no repairs but one crack to one arm, right angle pair repared bow, bright cut bowls bent. No other repairs or defects noted.

A silver three piece teaset of oval panelled form by Fordham and Faulkner, Sheffield, 1908. Wt. 1090gm. CONDITION REPORT: Slight bruising and occasional dings to teapot. No damage to jug and basin noted. Marks generally good, date letter rubbed but readable on pot and jug.

CONDITION REPORT: Snuff box repairs to corners of lid, two small dents, marks worn. Vesta dented. Cigarette case battered and repair to shield cartouche.

James Dixon & Son, Sheffield 1900 (vesta) and 1904(case). Wt. without chain 110gm. CONDITION REPORT: Vesta very good condition. Case convex face dished, the cartouche replaced, lead soldered, one slight ding, otherwise good.

Wt., timepiece out, 200gm. CONDITION REPORT: Slight bruising on the case, no dings, repairs or other damage. Full marks good, part marks rubbed.
