(Poplar & Stepney Rifles) Samual T Collyer of the 16th (Queens Westminster Rifles) enlisted 9th December 1915. He was awarded a Silver War Badge List TP/3152 and Discharged 31st August 1918, under 392 XV1 KR. Ernest Fuller served latterly with the ASC under numbers M/41877 and M/24968. His address when the Medals were sent was Church Street, Betchworth, Surrey.

Also a Victory Medal named to 67199 Pte C H Budden Worcs Regt. Whilst serving with the 2nd Battalion Dorsetshire Regiment, Pte Budden was Killed in Action 15/8/1916, aged 25 years. The son of Charles and Mary Budden of 66 Capstone Road, Bournemouth. Buried in Baghdad ( North Gate) War Cemetery Iraq. Plot 21. Row H. Grave 20. Iraq-8. Shown on the MIC as serving in 5A Theatre of War (Asiatic) from 6/11/14. Conflictingly the Died of Disease date is given as 29/4/1916. The Regimental History shows Died 15/9/1916. Presumably as a Prisoner of War after the fall of Kut. His brother? Charles H Budden was awarded a Silver War Badge, List L/A/1695.

Cuthbert Milne served with his Regiment the 1st City of London Regiment (Royal Fusiliers) in Theatre 3 'Egypt' area of War, from the 30th August 1915. Later service with his Regiment under Number 201095 Awarded a Silver War Badge List TP/2500 and Discharged from Service from the 11th March 1918.

Reginald W Barrett served with the 11th and latterly the 21st London Regt under number 678028. Rifleman 678028 (21st County of London-1st Surrey Rifles) Reginald W Barrett was Killed in Action or Died of Wounds 6th April 1918. Aged 29. The son of William & Margaret Barrett and husband of Laura D Barrett of 94 Edith Road, West Kensington, London. He was born in London. Buried in the Senlis Communal Cemetery Extension on the Somme .

The Star is returned for amendment of name 31/7/1920 , passed by Adj. The 2nd MIC details state Joyce Wanstall No 2557 7 London Regt awarded British War & Victory Medals.

The missing medallion would appear to be that of Edward V. Twenty of the medallions are as yet unopened, all are Hallmarked.

A 22nd LONDON REGT GT WAR TRIO. A 1914/15 Star, British War & Victory Medal named to 1774 Pte E J Cotton 22 Lond R. Edward J Cotton served with the 22nd London (County of London the Queens) in France, from the 14th March 1915. Later transferred to the Royal Irish Rifles Number 1/43777. He was awarded the Silver War Badge and Discharged under Para 392 XV1 on the 23rd of August 1918. His medals were sent to him at 62, Ethnard Rd, Old Kent Road, London. S.E.

Pte Sidney Wray of the 13th London Regiment (Kensington Battalion) enlisted on the 8th February 1915 and was Discharged Para 392 XV1A with a Silver War Badge 4th August 1919. List TP/5258. Serving later in the War with the number 492551, awarded a pair only. Private Arthur A Pollen served later in the war with the Lancashire Fusiliers, under number 69743.
MULLER'S SECURITY OF BRITAIN 1689 MEDALLION. 55mm diameter in silver coloured metal, with conjoined busts obverse. Gvilielmvs Et Maria Rex et Regina Brittaniae obverse legend. The reverse has Brittania seated with scales, cornucopia and staff with the cap of liberty atop. Under an orange tree with the legend Aurea Floriceris Succrescunt Poma Rosetis. Securitas Brittaniae 1689 below. An edge knock is apparent between 09:00-10:00 oclock. At 12:00 oclock a small centre punched? hole is evident. Around the edge the legend Externo Male Pressa Iugo Brittania Pridem , In Priscas Iterum Respirat Libera Leges. Translates as Britain severly oppressed of late by a foreign yoke, again breathes free under her ancient laws. Struck in Nuremberg about May 1689 by Phillip Heinrich Muller. Number 313 in Chris Eimer's British Commemorative Medals and their values. See Illustration.

A George 111 threepenny piece dated 1819, a counterfeit George 111 Halfcrown in brass with silver plating, a worn George 111 1820 dated Crown piece. A William 111 sixpenny piece dated 1696, also a George 11 sixpence dated 1757. A George 1111 halfcrown piece dated 1821.
A GLOSTERS 1914 STAR/BAR TRIO. A 1914 Star with Clasp, British war & Victory Medals named to 7925 Pte J Sparrow. 1 Glouc R on the star with Glouc R on the latter two. Jesse Sparrow served in France from the 13th August 1914, having joined as a Volunteer in March 1905, from S W Badge records. Discharged with a Silver War Badge, aged 37 (Wounds). His badge number was 476303. With a Gloucestershire Regt Cap Badge and back badge.

Philip Edmund Bryan was serving in France with his unit from 7/1/1915. Commissioned into the Royal Engineers 14th February 1917, served in L Signalling Company RE. Still serving in 1919 . Medals address given as 70 Herne Hill Rd, SE 24. With the medals is a silver/enamel Royal Engineers Sweethearts brooch. Also a related silver ARP badge An Africa Star, Defence & War medals with British Forces ID card number 117555. Issued to Lt David Norman Bryan Indian Army with enclosed photograph, also a spare photograph of the recipient. Commissioned (Emergency 2/Lt IA) in October 1941.

TWO GUARDS REGIMENT PAIRS. British War & Victory Medals named to 1. 17464 Pte E F Kirby C.Gds. (Ewart F Kirby) 2. A-Cpl F Horn Scots Gds. (Frank Horn). Enlisted 14/12/1915, Silver Wound Badge awarded under Para 2 392/Xv1 K R Class. P Army Res awarded Pension, Discharged 30/9/1918. A lot of details are on his MIC, he received a Gun Shot Wound in the left leg.
A HIGHLAND SOCIETY MEDAL IN SILVER 1801. A Highland Society medal for the Egypt Campaign of 1801, under General Sir Ralph Abercromby. He commanded the landings at Aboukir Bay in March 1801 against strong French opposition. On the night of the 21st march the French made a surprise attack on the British Camp, General mAbercromby was hit by a ricochet and died aboard the Flagship, seven days later. Silver awards were mainly to senior officers and those who distinguished themselves in the Campaign. This example is unnamed as issued, with the Highland Society London around the rim. A cased silver 36mm, roughly translated 400th Anniversary (1538-1938) Bogata Casa de Moneda 1V centenario ,with slip of issue. A cased silver medallion of 38mm with coat of arms, the legend reads Por la Razon O la Fuerza on the obverse. Contitucion Politica La Republica de Chile Promulcada El 18 de Setiembre De 1925. A silver coloured medallion of 58mm diameter, with bust obverse and legend in Spanish. 'Chiloe Incorprada al Territorio De La Republic 22 Enero 1826. ano Freire 1926. The reverse has a Conquistadore , with the legend. 'Aqui Llego Donde Otro No Ha Llegado Don Alonso D'Ercilla 28 Febrero 1558.
A GUARDS OFFICERS TUNIC C1945 Wartime Coldstream Guards officers uniform items, including No 1 dress and Blues, trousers, shirts, greatcoat, etc. Size 3 the tunics with tailors label inside, one dated 1943. Two under-suits for cold weather wear, tanks or automobiles etc. No1 dress peaked hat with silver coloured metal/enamel officers Coldstream Guards Badge, also a blues peaked officers cap with s/c/m and enamel badge . Most of this lot is in well kept almost undamaged condition.
A SOMERSET LI TRIO & SWB A 1914/15 Star, British War & Victory Medals named to 16877 Pte A G Hill Som LI. A Somerset shoulder title and bugle, is also with the medals Arthur G Hill was serving in France from the 8th June 1915. Wounded and awarded a Discharge on the 25 June 1916, Silver Wound Badge 99515.

The Civic Medal (Belgian) appears to be the second class award in silver finish, with Gt War ribbon and 1914-15 Bar. Crossed swords suspender below medal ring mount.

He was awarded a Silver War Badge List D/85 and discharged from service, under order (392) 28th April 1916.
