Lucille Sévin (French, fl.1920-1940),'Isadora', an opalescent glass figure of a nude wearing a cloak, moulded 'Etling France 50', raised on a chrome metal plinth, 22cm highIn collaboration with Edmund Etling, Sévin produced several works in bronze, glass and ivory. This is believed to represent the American dancer Isadora Duncan. Sévin exhibited in Paris at the Salon des Artistes Français, winning a bronze medal in 1932, a silver medal in 1937, and a gold medal at the Exposition Universelle in Paris.Condition ReportSome spotting to the underside of the plinth.Plinth has small knock and the plinth slightly out of shape.Some minor spots to areas of the glass - shown in further photos added to the website.
