It fastens with a pin and c-hook and appears to have a loop for a safety chain. It bears no hallmark nor stamp but in our opinion would test as silver and gold. There is some wear to the marks especially those on some spoons but in general each is legible. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The frosted glass liner in the mustard-pot is somewhat ill-fitting. There is some pitting inside the salts and some scuffs and marks to the case.

The finial was possibly originally gilded.

The two wood insulators originally ebonised but most of the finish has rubbed off. There are some cracks and shinkage to the insulators so the handle is somewhat loose.

The finial is apparently unmarked and is probably later. It tests as silver. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There are some minor bruises. The glass bottles are possibly later. The surface has been treated to prevent tarnish. This has discoloured and worn off in places. The cartouches have probably been erased.

There is some bruising overall, including one to the base. The engraving is later, there is no sign of a previous erasure. The handle sockets have possible been resoldered. There is a repair to the thumbpiece where it attaches to the cover.

The brooch is in fair condition with slight damages commensurate with age. It fastens with a detachable pin and C-hook catch and features a safety visor. It has a foldable loop to be used as a pendant. It bears no hallmark nor stamp but in our opinion would test as silver and gold. The emerald measures 8.39mm x 7.72mm x 4.07mm approximately. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity SI2/I1/I2. Gross weight 18.5 grams. CR made 28.09.23.

Berkeley Thomas Paget, eighth child of Henry Paget, 1st Earl of Uxbridge. Fully marked underneath. There is some wear to the marks but each is generally legible. One further engraved with a scratchweight '12=6'. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the engraving and the high points.

A Late 19th/Early 20th Century Moonstone, Sapphire and Diamond Brooch the round moonstone plaque carved to depict a face, within a border of rose cut diamonds with round cut sapphires at four points, in white claw settings, total estimated diamond weight 0.20 carat approximatelymeasures 2.9cm diameterThe brooch is in fair condition, there is abrasion to the moonstone and sapphires and some of the diamonds are chipped. It fastens with a pin and revolver catch and there is a loop to the bottom for a safety chain. It bears no hallmark nor stamp but in our opinion would test as gold and silver. The moonstone measures 18.20mm diameter approximately. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour K/L/M, clarity SI2/I1/I2. Gross weight 6.5 grams. CR made 05/02/24.
