A George III silver twin handled cup, medical interest, Peter and Jonathan Bateman, London 1810, with later presentation engraving 'Presented by the members of the Foundation Stone of Truth Lodge, of the Independent Order of Old Fellows, No 340 of the Manchester Unity, to John Bennett Esq As a token of respect for his eminent services as Surgeon to the above lodge', 'Furness Aug 9th 1841', 11.5ozt, 16cm H CONDITION REPORT: Footrim slightly bent to the back, but still sits well and does not rock. Makers mark slightly rubbed but other marks are good. Small split to side of one handle seam. Some minor dents and scratches throughout but overall condition appears to be ok.
A mid 19th century Russian 84 Zolotnik silver and niello snuff box, decorated with a figure on a horse and harbour scenes, dated 1851, 2.5ozt, 8cm CONDITION REPORT: niello worn to the horse and rider section, hinge appears to be a little tarnished/rusted, otherwise hinge is good, some surface scratching but overall in good order. See images of marks attached.
A Victorian silver box, George Betjemann & Sons, London 1894, the cushion shaped lid decorated with scrolling acanthus leaves, with inner hinged cover, possibly part of a tea caddy, 6ozt, 10cm CONDITION REPORT: Overall condition appears to be good, interior cover has bent left hand corner, otherwise good, marks clear.
A George V silver cigarette box, London, 1912, the lid engraved with a crest, 17.5cm CONDITION REPORT: Crest rubbed to cover, dent to cover, corners and sides, marks rubbed, needs a good clean, overall a little tired but still a good looking piece. Please see the attached images for further clarification of these points.
A selection of silver to include a profusely embossed Art Nouveau silver backed dressing table mirror, BPDC Birmingham 1909, a silver handled button hook, 27cm long, two silver lipstick cases, a further silver handled button hook , a silver mounted nail buff and a pair of manicure scissors (7) CONDITION REPORT: The mirror is not cracked.
A pair of silver bottle coasters, P H Vogel & C, Birmingham 1994, with wooden inserts and plain polished gallery with displayed hallmarks, 9cm diameter CONDITION REPORT: Some minor surface scratching and wear, otherwise both appear to be in very good order. Need a good clean.
GOLFING INTEREST: An unusual Edwardian silver vesta case, Birmingham 1906, probably 'JP', of circular form and depicting golfers to one side, 4cm diameter, weight 25gms CONDITION REPORT: Suspension lug removed from side by hinge leaving small patch, small dent to back, some surface scratching and wear and some definition lost to high points. But still a good looking piece.
A George III silver sauce boat, William Skeen, London 1763, flying scroll handle and cusped rim on three hoof feet, 14.5cm long CONDITION REPORT: Marks rubbed - see the attached image. Repair to the top of the handle, some splits to the leg/body join, looking a little tired but overall ok. See the attached updated images for further clarification of these points.
A German 800 standard silver holy water finger font, embossed with rocaille scrolls above an image of Madonna and Child below a saint, vacant cartouche, 13.5cm high CONDITION REPORT: Overall appearance shows to be tarnished and would benefit from a clean. Embossing appears generally good however high points have been rubbed and detail slightly lost however generally still ok. Some light surface blemishes. Hallmarks still legible. Makers mark for Martin Mayer, Mainz (f.1888).
An Art Nouveau silver mounted mirror, William Neale, Birmingham 1910, the rectangular frame with serpentine top embossed with bow garlands with floral drops, easel back, 30cm high CONDITION REPORT: Suggest this may have been a photo frame originally, mirror has slipped slightly, 20cm x 15.2cm central aperture, some holes to high points through over-polishing, some scratching and wear throughout, some denting to the edges, marks clear and legible, easel still present but ribbon 'stop' perished. looking a little tired but overall still an attractive piece.

A Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) silver brooch by Murrle Bennett & Co. the hammered silver brooch, with central turquiose cabochon and flanked by two pearl panels, 'MB&Co' makers mark, and '950' standard mark (incuse), 3.2cm wide Murrle Bennett was founded by Ernst Murrle and JB Bennett, they specialised in high quality but reasonably priced jewellery in the Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) style. They were London based, but production took place in Pforzheim, Germany. They had their own catalog and shop, but also sold through Liberty & Co. CONDITION REPORT: Overall condition appears to be good. No obvious cracks, splits or obvious damage.
A Danish sterling silver bangle stamped 'Jane Wiberg', with eighteen sections, 5.25cm to the bar hinge, and two other silver bangles, 143gms, (3) CONDITION REPORT: One fully hallmarked, one stamped '925', Wiberg stamped 'Sterling', All wearable size for a small to medium wrist.
