An early 18th-century Scottish provincial silver inverted baluster cream jug, bearing provincial marks for Aberdeen and a gothic and lowercase "e" and the makers mark GR separated by a pellet (George Robertson?), with sparrow beak spout, auricular shaped handle and the body with flat chassed decoration above two family crests to either side, supported on a domed foot, 8.5 ozt. 15 cm overall height.

A George III silver tea caddy, London 1788 by William Sumner, of hexagonal form, encompassed with pin-struck banded borders, embellished with bright-cut engraved floral garlands, and vacant navette cartouches suspending from ribbon surmounts, the hinged cover topped with a detachable carved ivory pineapple finial with silver radiating leaves, 15.5 cm, 11.8 ozt. Ivory certification reference 2UUGCS8D. The tea caddy is in overall good condition with no evidence of damage or repairs to the silver.  The ivory pineapple finial is showing multiple cracks.

A George II silver tankard, by John Langlands I, Newcastle 1759, of baluster form with reeded girdle, a stepped and domed hinged cover ornated with cast chair back thumb piece, scroll handle with heart terminal, raised on circular spreading foot, engraved with an armorial within foliate mantling and initials, 20.0 cm high, 28.69 ozt.There is thinning to the silver around the engraving but especially to the initials on either side as this has been polished out.   There is evidence of repair to the underside of the foot and also to the cover by the hinge.

The vesta compartment has rust on the match strike and this has stained the interior. There is wear to the gilt interior of the cigarette case. Otherwise, overall wear is commensurate with age and use but no major defects.
