A Cased Russian Silver Travelling-Canteen, The Beakers and Napkin-Ring by Vasilii Kangin, St Petersburg, 1908-1926, The Fork, Spoons and Knife French and with Russian Import Marks for St Petersburg, Retailed by Ivan Ekimovich Morozov, each with rocaille and foliage scroll cartouche with engraved initials, comprising: two beakers, in sizes, a napkin-ring; a table-fork; table-spoon; table-knife with steel blade and a teaspoon, in fitted oak box., the hinged cover with retailers name below Imperial warrant, the box 38.3cm, weighable silver 11oz 11dwt, 360grCondition report: Each piece marked as would be expected. The spoons, fork and knife each with indistinct French lozenge shaped maker's mark. The silver in generally good condition with only some minor scratching and wear. The case somewhat worn.

A Russian Silver Vase, by Faberge, With Imperial Warrant, Workmaster Jenny Väkevä, St Petersburg, 1902-1908. Indistinct Scratched Inventory Number, tapering cylindrical and on three ball feet, the lower body part-fluted, set with three Russian coins depicting Empress Elizabeth and dated 1746, 1754 and 1756 below a band or anthemion and foliage on a matted ground, 16.2cm high, 14oz 2dwt, 439grFootnote: A very similar bowl dated to 1908-1917, also by Faberge, though with the workmaster's mark of Jenny Väkevä's brother-in-law Alexander, was sold Christie's, London, 29 June 2010, lot 274. Like the present example, it was set with three coins depicting Empress Elizabeth. It is tempting to think that both the present example and the bowl mentioned above were part of a series made to commemorate the bi-centennial of the birth of Empress Elizabeth in 1709.Condition report: Marked under base with Cyrillic Faberge mark below Imperial Warrant. Further marked with Kokoshnik mark. With incuse workmasters mark JW. There is the remains of a scratched inventory number to the left of the Faberge mark. It is very worn and only partly visible. There is overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is most noticeable as a softening to some of the coins. There are some bruises and minor areas of pitting.

A Polish Silver-Gilt Chalice, Marked With Housemark, With Indistinct Town Mark, Dated 1652, on shaped circular foot with chased putto masks with auricular ornament between, applied with faceted garnets, two lacking, the stem cast baluster and with three angels within niches, the plain tapering bowl with detachable putto mask and foliage base, stamped underneath with an inscription dated 1652, 26.5cm high, 23oz 15dwt, 738grused at St Anne's Orthodox Monastery, York.Condition report: Marked on base with two marks. They are somewhat indistinct. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the gilding and high points. Two of the garnets are lacking and another is cracked. The other garnets with some scratches. There are some small splits to the base. A collar has been added at the top of the base to strengthen this area. There are some bruises at the base of the stem. Sold with a gilt metal paten.

There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a very minor softening to the high points. There are some bruises. The carved wood base is lacking its central section and as such is partly detached. The weight in the catalogue of 1,175 is the weight of the silver, including the vase and the fixing bolt. The weight of the wood stand is 345gr.

There has been an inscription erased from the cartouche of the coffee-pot, teapot and sugar-bowl and from underneath on the cream-jug. There are some repairs visible mostly inside the teapot.

There is a crack or inclusion to the cabochon finial.

The incense boat was originally gilding with most of the original gilding now worn off. The hinge is very slightly bruised which prevents the cover from closing properly.

The marks are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear to the silver and to the glass. There is a crack to the glass body on one, running approximately 80mm from the handle, there is also a chip to the foot. The cover on the other is currently detached and is somewhat ill fitting.
