Waterman Exception Precious Metals Solid Silver Ballpoint Pen in original box with full certification. Exception Silver boasts a complex chiselling process truly unique to Waterman Each Ballpoint Pen receives 3 sets of 4 parallel lines that are engraved on the 4 sides of the pen. Each set has a different and unique length. Exception's quadrangular shape makes this chiselling very difficult to obtain. It is a unique chiselling, breaking away from traditional vertical chiselling. The chiselling asymmetry marries with the symmetry of the square. This unique association gives new dynamics to the pen, in contrast with standard vertically chiselled pens the market. Hallmarks are stamped on EXCEPTION cap ring, opposite of the clip. FRANCE is engraved on cap ring on the right side of the clip. Each pen has 2 Hallmarks:1 government hallmark and 1 master stamp. Government hallmark: The head of Minerva It testifies the pen is in solid silver. This hallmark is stamped by Bureau de la Garantie de Paris. Each Waterman pen is hand assembled and hand tested by a Waterman expert. From checking every nib for smoothness to making sure the quality of each pen is beyond magnificent. With every touch, we've grounded our legacy of crafting fine writing instruments that always give wings to limitless possibilities. Exception is a phenomenon of technical ingenuity. Conceiving a prestigious pen of this shape to not only look good, work brilliantly, but also feel sublime in the hand, took immense skill. Today, when you write with an Exception, you can feel the inspiration flowing from its charismatic lines. A Waterman masterpiece that echoes the magic of inspiration. Good Condition.
