Note: Two previous auctions of matching candelabra are known. One in 2015 of a pair of candelabra bearing Elkington & Co registration diamond dated 1865, sold for £2,500 in London. The other in 2010 was a table centrepiece with candelabra garnitures, sold for $7,000 in New York.
