James Woolley (c. 1695 - 1786) produced turret and longcase clocks including one in the Nottingham Exchange.

Victorian Argyllshire Artillery Volunteers Officer's Sword By Wilkinson 34 1/2 inch, single edged, slightly curved blade with fuller.  Etched foliage scroll panels, Victorian crowned VR cypher, lightening bolts with "Argyllshire Artillery".  Family crest for Finley over owner's entwined initials "CCF".  Forte with maker "Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall London'.  Back edge numbered "15717" (1868).  Three bar steel guard.  Ribbed pommel and part checkered backstrap.  Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding.  Contained in its polished steel scabbard with two loose hanging rings.  Throat stamped "Wilkinson Pall Mall".  Complete with buff leather and silver wire acorn sword knot.   Possibly carried by Captain Colin C Finley who commanded the 8th South Hall Battery, appointed 16th March 1868 PAYMENT BY BANK TRANSFER ONLY

Matching decorated Bazu band. The lower section with two steel panels joined by chainmail links. No cotton lining ... Helmet plate comprises Victorian crowned rose leaf sprays mounted with multi pointed silvered hobnail star mounted with a gilt oval Garter resting between two scrolls YORKSHIRE and DRAGOONS, the centre mounted with silvered Rose of the House of York. Silver rose head bosses support a leather backed, silvered chin chain; the plain fluted plume holder supports a white flowing horsehair plume with a rose head boss. Silk lining. A fine rare example, the gilded skull with ornate flaming plume holder of gilt metal supporting the white over red horsehair plume with gilt rose boss. To the front, a crowned rococo shield resting in laurel and oak sprays, bearing cut silver star mounted with oval gilt strap inscribed P.C.W. DRAGOON GUARDS; VR Cypher to centre. Both the front and back peaks are ornamented with applied acanthus leaves. Large gilt rose bosses support a leather backed chin chain. The interior with original silk liner, now a little shot. 4th Royal Irish Dragoon Guards Officer 1871 pattern helmet. A fine scarce example. The gilded skull surmounted by a crosspiece base and four inch high plume socket supporting a replacement white horsehair plume with gilt rose boss. Skull ornamented with a laurel wreath above the front peak and an oak leaf band rising from the edge of the neck piece and terminating under the crosspiece at the top. To the front a cut silver eight pointed star of the Most Illustrious Order of St.Patrick mounted with pierced gilt motto on a light blue enamel ground. To the voided centre, St.Patrick cross in red enamel on a lined silver field. To the centre of the cross, a green enamelled shamrock with three gilt, red enamelled crowns. Gilt rose pattern ear bosses support the black velvet backed chin chain. Red quilted silk lining to the interior. The gilt finish to the skull remains in near parade condition. Whilst she was there, she learnt the rudiments of her craft and on her return to Britain in the 1920s she set up in business with W. Nathanson, working in a late Arts & Crafts style. Dunlop closed the business at the outbreak of war in 1939 but after the war Nathanson re-started the business and continued producing jewellery and silver under Dunlop's name until he retired in 1971.
