A pair of Edwardian silver five-light candelabraGoldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd, London 1908In the Adam style, the tapering cylindrical columns and spreading square bases with ribbon tied drapes and tassels, bead rims, the engraved crest and motto is that of the PILKINGTON family of Park Lane Hall (or House) Yorkshire, the detachable branch sections each with two pairs of arms fitting below a central light, this enables these to be three or five-light candelabrum, the nozzles embossed with shells, husk festoons and stiff leaf motifs and with leaf embellished scroll arms, loaded bases, lacking one small drip pan, height 48.5cm.Footnotes:The crest is that of the PILKINGTON family of Park Lane Hall (or House) Yorkshire. The family were originally of Rivington, Lancashire where they were considered to be of considerable antiquity. 19th-century Strut clock 19th-century Strut clock, 30-hour movement, silvered dial signed Detouche, Roman numerals, oval brass case with fretwork decoration, overstamped with filigree work.height 13cm (5")Small leg to clock frame bent, there appears to have been some attempt to try and clean the silver dial, therefore it would be an advantage for the dial to be re-silvered when back of case removed no sign of any signature, two small screws missing from one cog (see photographs).

'A Pompeian Lady at her Toilet' Silver Plated Charger After Léonard Morel-Ladeuil After Léonard Morel-Ladeuil (1820-1888). A large Elkington & Co silver plated charger, decorated with a neoclassical scene titled 'A Pompeian Lady at her Toilet', signed 'Morel-Ladeuil, inv Fecit 1876', all within a decorative border on a black lacquered wooden frame. Can be hung on the wall or stand on a surface.Diameter 57cmPainted gilt border has worn away in places, black lacquered finish on the rear has areas where it has been rubbed off around the hanging string. The hinge for the stand is loose and the strut doesn't fit snugly into the gap. Silver plate has patination throughout with the copper finish visible in most areas.
