CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds and appears to be ticking away but only for 30 seconds or so at any one time. The dial seems to be in good order with no significant issues. The case is a little dented at the rear and the watch glass has a loss just above the numeral 12. The case is also very dirty but all doors snap shut as they should.

Height 18 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The cup is in generally good order with no significant issues. There are no significant dents to the upper section and no repairs to the handles. The hallmarks are clear. A minor criticism would be that the foot rim is a little bent out of shape and there are one or two minor scratches to the silver in places.

Lot 525

A silver table cigarette box, with boxwood interior, engine turned, Birmingham 1939. Width 16.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The box is in generally extremely good condition. There are only very minor surface dents and blemishes but no significant issues. The piece is not monogrammed. The lid closes crisply. There are no gaps. The hallmarks are a little rubbed but are legible. The engine turning is a little worn in places through polishing.

CONDITION REPORT: As stated the lid from this tankard is missing. It is otherwise in good condition. It is not misshapen, dented or significantly scratched. The weight is 33.9 grams.

Lot 556

An oak canteen of cutlery, twelve place settings, principally complete and stamped Dixon. Canteen height 77 cm, width 76 cm, depth 49 cm. CONDITION REPORT: This canteen is silver plate not solid silver. All items are tarnished and require a good clean. There is however no significant wear to the cutlery and it has clearly not seen a great deal of use. There are some cracks to the knife handles and some discolouration. The condition of the plated finish is generally good. The knife handles are monogrammed with the letter P as are all of the pieces of cutlery.
