The main body has several small dents (shallow) but no splits. The hallmarks are visible and readable but rubbed. The inside of the funnel has lots of marks and the rim has several small nicks and marks. The strainer's bottom rim has several small indentations, one small flat area, small nicks and scratches from general use. The shell thumbpiece has been bent down making the upper rim misshapen and a small crease and dent is visible on the inside. There are other small dents and scratches visible inside of the bowl. No visible repairs. The gauze fits snugly into the main body of the funnel
