It fastens with a tongue and box catch and features a figure-of-eight safety catch. The tongue is indistinctly stamped, possibly Polish hallmarks, in our opinion the bracelet would test as gold and silver The reverse of the bracelet has the maker's mark 'FB' and is etched '25.V.1936'. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity SI2/I1/I2. Gross weight 12.1 grams. CR made 25.07.23.

There is some wear to the marks, particularly under the coffee-pot, though in general the marks are still clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is worse on some pieces than on other, particular the teapot and cream where the engraving and decoration is noticeable softened. Some piece with bruises. There is some cracking and discolouration to the ivory handle and insulators, though each is clearly from the 19th century.
