Large Scandinavian white metal lidded tankard of cleated construction, with embossed floral decoration, loop handle with facemask terminal and embossed ball thumbpiece, similarly decorated hinged cover, with inset medallion and engraved dedication dated 1714, on three embossed ball feet, interior of hinge engraved VeK4 A95 LoD. Underside marked WH or HM. 24.5cm overall height.General overall condition very good, some surface wear, scratching and minor dents, hinge is slightly distorted and may have been repaired, cover does not close tightly, ball thumbpiece solder joint onto honge is cracked and may have been resoldered when hinge was repaired, there is a scrape mark on the base and feet are all worn on bottom, centre of base may have had engraving or mark removed. No other signs of major damage or repair. Marks and engraving clear. This tankard is not silver and may contain plated elements.

Marks are rubbed.

Set of four George III silver dishes of navette form, with gadrooned borders and leaf mounted scroll handles, on oval bases (London 1810) no maker's mark. All at approximately18ozs.General overall condition very good, some minor wear and surface scratching, interiors have been cleaned, one dish has marks in the interior where some surface damage appears to have been erased but this does show on the exterior. Hallmarks are clear. Each dish is approximately 13.2cm across handles.
Late 18th century George III silver wine coaster of circular form, with pierced floral swag decoration and bead border, turned wood base with silver boss (Marks rubbed circa 1790, possibly George Ashworth & Co) 13.5cm diameter.General overall condition good, some surface scratching and wear, there is evidence of a seam and possible repair to the left of the shield and beaded rim may also have been repaired in two places. Wooden base is worn and has a cigarette burn. Marks are for Sheffield and rubbed.
Victorian silver christening cup of panelled baluster form, with engraved Gothic style decoration, engraved inscription and decorative scroll handle, on a circular branch base, in original fitted case (London 1854) Charles Thomas Fox & George FoxGeneral condition quite good, some overall surface scratching and wear, cup is engraved "Henry Maunsell Prentice from his God Father Major Genl. Bolton 1907". Bottom of cup is distorted just above base where it has been knocked in all round and pushed back out, there is a visible solder repairs to the panel to the left of the engraved panel and the panel to the immediate right of the handle. There is a very slight rock when plced on a hard surface. Marks rubbed but legible. Case is slightly scuffed, fastening catch is broken.

All at approximately 9ozs. 19.5cm across.General overall condition very good, some surface scratching, wear and minor denting, lower silver handle mount is slightly torn where pin goes through, finial is cracked. No evidence of other major damage or repair. Marks good.

The pierced grape and vine handle is a later Victorian replacement (Sheffield 1844) Henry Wilkinson & Co. All at approximately 16ozs. 24.3cm diasmeter.

Underside marked MGO, base with lion's head erased. All at approximately 13ozs. 21.8cm diameter.General overall condition good, some surface wear, scratching, pin pricks and minor dents, there are file marks to the centre of the underside and foot may have been repaired where it is joined to the top. Base has some dents and minor distortion. Armorial is later, possibly added towards end of 18th century, replacing something earlier. Marks are good for age.
