A Pair of Coin Cufflinks, mounted with coins in the style of the Roman Republican silver denarii of Q. Fabius Labeo to the centre, obv. head of Roma right, rev. Jupiter in quadriga right, struck to commemorate his ancestor's naval victories over the Selucid King, Antiochus the Great, in yellow rubbed over settings, with swivel bars.The cufflinks are in fair condition with slight discolouration in places. There is wear to the plating with copper showing through overall. There is an extensive crack to the rim of the glass. This is beneath the silver plate mount so is only visible from the. The claret-jug on the right apparently unmarked. The hinge pin is lacking so the cover doesn't not stay on.
