An early 20th century Edwardian era circa 1900s men's gentleman's theatre costume. The costume comprising of jacket and pair of breeches / pantaloons. The jacket having collar with silver bullion embroidered on burgundy silk in floral motifs over ruched black velvet type material sleeves and breast with silk panels threaded with faceted glass beads and sequins. The sleeve cuffs having gold bullion to edge. Both the jacket and breeches having hem lined with bullion and sequin tassels. The pantaloons having a sewn tag for Skewes Bros of 21 Clare Street, Bristol. Dated by hand for a 03/12/04, Earl of Suffolk, J. E. Wood.

Also accompanied by a 20th century hand sculpted figure modelled from soldered metal in the form of a choir singer robed and holding hymn book, raised upon a plinth base marked 29-150. Measures 185mm diameter.

The reverse shows the famous St George slaying the Dragon, designed by Benedetto Pistrucci. Obverse details: "Jubilee bust", veiled and draped, of Queen Victoria. "JEB" on truncation. VICTORIA D:G:BRITT:REG:F:D: Reverse details: St George on horseback slaying Dragon, with hair streaming beneath his helmet. Initials B.P at base for the engraver Benedetto Pistrucci. Date in exergue 1890. Comes along with a 1965 Churchill Crown, a 1981 Charles and Dianna Crown and a 2000 Queen Mother Crown.
