WW2 Parachute Regiment Officers Beret Badge & Collar Badge Set, fine quality example officers frosted silver beret badge with two lug fittings to the reverse. Accompanied by a matching set of frosted silver facing pair of tunic collar badges. All have stamped to the reverse “P” which is often found on badges made by Gaunt. Very good condition set. Scarce Early Royal Air Force Parachute Qualified Jump Wing, interesting locally made parachute jump wing on RAF blue grey backing. Fine gold bullion wire wings with silver parachute canopy. Press stud fittings to the reverse. Good uniform removed example. This piece of insignia is the actual example shown on page 273 of “British Airborne Insignia” by Oliver Lock.
Third Reich SA Dress Dagger by Carl Eickhorn with Erased Rohm Inscription, good untouched example complete with its original brown wooden grip, eagle and enamel SA device set into the grip. Nickel silver top and lower cross guard mounts, reverse of the cross guard stamped “Ns”. Housed in the original scabbard with both top and bottom mounts. Blade retains much of the original polish and blackening to the motto, “Alles fur Deutschland”. Reverse side of the blade has small type Carl Eickhorn makers trade mark and clear signs of erasure of the Ernst Rohm dedication inscription. Blade measures 22cms, overall 37cms. Good untouched example.
Third Reich SA Dress Dagger by Carl Wusthof with Regimental Markings, good untouched example of a standard pattern SA dress dagger with brown wooden grip, nickel silver eagle and enamel SA device set into the grip. The lower cross guard and the top scabbard mount are stamped with regimental markings, “4/R 84 17984” and lower cross guard also stamped “Nm”. Dagger scabbard is in untouched condition with some surface rusting and a dent / kink. Double edged blade with motto, “Alles fur Deutschland”. Lower section of the reverse with makers trade mark for Carl Wusthof, Solingen. Some staining to the blade, which measures 22cms, overall dagger measures 37cms. Good untouched example by an unusual maker.
Third Reich Land Customs Officials Dress Dagger by WKC, being a fine transitional pattern example having aluminium top pommel, customs pattern cross guard and nickel silver scabbard mounts. Green leather covered grip with the original wire binding intact. The scabbard has green leather covering which has some scuffs and areas of wear / loss. Plain double edged blade with WKC makers trade mark to the base. The blade measures 26cms, overall 41cms.
Third Reich Iron Cross 1st Class by Schauerte & Hohfeld, fine example retaining much of the frosted finish to the frame and much of the original finish to the centre. Reverse is complete with the original pin and catch fixing. Stamped to the bottom of the reverse with “L/54” for the maker Schauerte & Hohfeld, Ludenscheid. Housed in an original leatherette case with silver leaf outline of the award to the lid. Overall a good example, scarce to find by this maker.

Complete with its original pin and catch fixing to the reverse. Underneath of the pin stamped “20” for the maker C F Zimmermann, Pforzheim. Housed in its original leatherette case of issue with silver leaf outline of the award to the lid. Some expected wear to the leatherette case but generally a good example.

Boer War Silver Presentation Cigarette Case of Baden Powell Interest, an interesting and highly detailed engraved German silver cigarette case with finely engraved scene of the Artillery field gun defending Mafeking during the siege, engraved below “15cm Creuzot Lady Jane Mafeking 1899/1900”, reverse engraved “Major AD to General B P 1901”. Remains in very good condition. Baden Powell commanded the defenders of Mafeking against the Boers. He was promoted to Major General after this action and became a national hero. He later formed the Boy Scouts movement.
Good Quality Japanese Hon Kozane Ni Mai Do (True-Scale Two Section Cuirass) with a vertical hinge to the left side, red-brown coloured lacquered with blue silk kebiki lacing, gilt copper fittings of good quality secured by silver rivets, incorporating a Mokko mon, top edges and shoulders are covered with decorated doe skin, inside lined with gold lacquered leather, front central gessan is fitted with a fabric pouch (hanagami fukuro) and on the back are two metal fittings for a flag holder (gattari). The armour is preserved in un-cleaned condition. Provenance: by repute this armour was de-accessioned by a Californian Museum following an earthquake. The inside still bears a collection number. Note: the mon was used by 2 Daimyo of the Oda family Kashiwabara in Tanba and Yagimoto in Yamato, and by Daimyo Tatebayashi in Yamato of the Akimoto family. Turkish 19th Century Dagger Jambya, curved double edge blade with raised central rib, one piece black buffalo horn hilt, in its fabric covered wooden sheath with 2 large iron mounts silver damascened with extensive panels and bands of geometric ornament and with diaper patterns to reverse. Blade 19cms, overall 32cms. Good untouched condition with age patina.
Good 18th Century Nepalese Sword Kora, ‘T’ section single edge ‘elephant ear’ blade of conventional form, cut with a single fuller and with a pair of flower heads within roundels at the tip, iron hilt comprising a pair of discs with thick silver damascened decoration (worn) surmounted by a stupa shaped pommel, iron grip. Blade 44cms. Good condition and age patina.
19th Century Indian Sword Tulwar, curved single edge blade with traces of maker’s stamp, iron hilt with fluted grip silver damascened overall with stylised floral and geometric decoration. Blade 76cms, overall 88cms. Good condition, blade cleaned bright, some silver hilt decoration missing, age wear overall.
Indian Punch Dagger Katar, 17th or 18th Century, blade with swollen armour-piercing tip and raised central rib; iron hilt of conventional form with twin swollen handle bars retaining traces of silver decoration overall. Overall 41cms, blade 22cms. Good condition, requires cleaning overall.
Indian Lacquered Hide Shield Dhal, early 19th century, fitted with 4 embossed silver bosses with punched decoration, the front lacquered with flowers and foliage, the inside fitted with 4 iron grip rings and lacquered with mountain tops and clouds. Quite good untouched condition, the outside lacquer crazed with some small losses. Diameter 47cms.

Fine Late 17th Century Smallsword, brass hilt with traces of gilding, guards with reinforced borders each connected by an outer bar, large foliate rings with supporting branches, quillon with tiny stepped baluster finial, stepped swollen pommel, silver wire bound grip, hollow ground blade. Overall 90cms, blade 74cms. Good condition with excellent untouched age patina.
