Three H G Murphy Falcon Works silver spoons, circular bowl the tapering handle with three chevron bands, and five en suite silver spoons by George T Friend, stamped marks, HGM Falcon mark, London 1933, and GTF London 1944, 15cm. long, 8.2ozt, (8), Catalogue notes George Taylor Friend (1882-1969) was the most accomplished engraver of the day, along with running his own studio, he also taught at the Central School of Arts and Crafts until 1900. He worked on pieces in conjunction with H,G. Murphy, such as The Sea Beaker now in the Victoria & Albert collection.
