KELLY., comprising British War Medal and Victory Medal in cardboard boxes of issue, a Vatican Order of St. Gregory Commander's Cross in silver gilt and enamel and a Vatican Order of the Holy Sepulchre Officer's Cross in gilt metal and enamel, together with the miniatures; also, a set of four Catenian Association medal miniatures, one of silver gilt with clasps engraved TREASURER 1914-15, 1915-16, 1916-1917 and 1917-18, and three of 9 carat gold, with bar mount engraved LONDON 1922-23, CITY OF LONDON 1924-25 and GRAND PRESIDENT 1931-32, sold together with a copy of his obituary from the magazine Catena which is the official publication of the Catenian Association Footnote:- Paul Herrick Kelly was born in Providence , R.I. in 1881. His father moved his family to London in the 1880's due to work commitments and Paul became a naturalised British citizen. He was initiated as a Catenian with the City of London Circle in 1911 and was commissioned in the Royal Tank Corps, as a Staff Captain, serving in France in 1918

A German Third Reich SS Officer's Overseas Cap, in field grey wool mix, the fold-down sides with silver/aluminium braid piping, eagle and swastika in silver/aluminium flat wire weave on a black field and a similar Totenkopf insignia, both hand stitched to the cap, with green satin lining. Small areas of moth damage. Slight soiling to the lower internal lining hem. Totenkopf fraying slightly at the bottom under the jaw.
