Russian silver filigree besamim box, approx  18 x 14 x 9 cms, 94 purity mark, Moscow city mark, stamped 1844, cyrillic AA. This box is made with silver wire-work twisted to form delicate arabesque patterns, rectangular body with canted corners, domed lid with yellow stone finial supported on four scroll feet.
