A 1981 Yamaha XT 500, registration number GFB 349W, frame number 1U6140528, engine number 146140140528, black/silver. Yamaha's iconic trail/enduro bike needs no introduction as it has been thrilling enthusiasts since it was revealed to the American market in 1975. This was imported from Italy and registered in 1997. The vendor describes the XT 500 as requiring some cosmetic refurbishment. The motorcycle had an engine out top end rebuild with new rings and valves by GV Bikes in 2009 (receipt on file for £533.16). The ignition system has been uprated with a twelve volt system and the handlebars have been replaced with Renthal bars.
