Pair of George III silver dwarf cast candlesticks by Thomas Hannam (or Hammond) & Richard Mills, London circa 1765, on square bases with shell corners and rope twist borders, with sconces,14.5 cms high, 1,000 grms 32 ozsCondition Report: Decoration heavily worn.On one of the candlesticks, the part that holds the sconce is heavily creased and slightly bent. The reason the sconce does not go in all the way is probably a combination of that and because there is wax inside. There is wax inside the other one too.Both have notches in the rims.
