Lyth Rotherham', enclosing lift out tray with ivory handle knives, scissors, bone saw and other accessories by Laundy, box 5cm high x 19cm wide x 8cm deep Dr John Burdsall Lyth M.R.C.S., lived at Fern Bank, Doncaster Road, Rotherham, trained in Liverpool, qualified MRCS (1871), LRCP Ed (1872), LSA (1872), was a surgeon at the Rotherham & District Hospital, according the 1914 Medical Directory he resided at The Wheatridge, Upton-St-Leonards, Gloucestershire (Senior Honorary Surgeon of Rotherham Hospital).
