A French silver and niello vesta case by Leon Mineau, boar's head poinçons, 1880s, of horseshoe shape with a slow match, the sticker under the top flap, the front cover with a rider taking a hedge, the back monogrammed, 5cm (2in) long Léon Mineau worked from 34 rue de Montmorency, Paris. He entered this mark on the 28th July 1881: it was cancelled on the 27th November 1894.
