Łukasz Stoklosa Versailles, 2020 Oil on Paper Signed verso 15 x 10cm (5¾ x 3¾ in.) Born in 1986 in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. In 2010 he graduated from The Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków and immediately was invited to the group show "Ars Homo Erotica" in National Museum in Warsaw. His first solo exhibition "A Tale of Winter " took place at Zderzak Gallery in 2011 and revealed the artist's trademark atmosphere of romanticism and decadence: silver walls, palace interiors, winter landscapes and portraits of movie actors as historical figures. His next solo shows at Zderzak - "The composition of Paintings" (2013) and "No 392″ (2015) were both awarded The "Marka" Prize for the best art events in Krakow. In 2014 he joined the group of the most promising artists of the world, selected by an international jury for "100 Painters of Tomorrow" - a compendium edited by Kurt Beers and published by Thames&Hudson, London-New York. Stoklosa is inspired by popular culture: B movies, television series, and pornography. His pictures are sensual and intelligent, they allure and repel, they have multiple false bottoms, just like any good noir film. His pictures and spatial objects have already found their way into many private collections. They have been presented in London, Antwerp, Vienna, Budapest, Assenheim and thoroughout Poland. Represented by Zderzak Gallery, Krakow, Poland.

Deborah Cruden Silver Flowers, 2020 Oil, Pencil and Silverleaf on Paper Signed verso 15 x 10cm (5¾ x 3¾ in.) Deborah Cruden is originally from Inverness, in the Highlands of Scotland. She graduated from Gray's School of Art in 1999 with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art and received the John Kinross Scholarship Award to Florence, Italy with the Royal Scottish Academy.    Since graduating she has exhibited in Edinburgh, Aberdeen and London regularly. She has many pieces in private collections and a large painting in the Queen Margaret University Hospital in Glasgow.    This year Deborah was one of 7 Scottish artists to be selected for the Royal Society of British Artists' Annual Exhibition at Mall Galleries.   Captured in her work is an expressive representation and reflection of her subject matter. In her paintings of children, she captures a brief natural moment in time. "Children reflect such depth of expression in their faces, I love the honesty and at times rawness of this. Capturing and conveying a natural, spontaneous moment is important to me because these moments are often the ones that we can relate most to from our own childhoods."    In her expressive abstract approach, she also includes buildings in her subject matter, disused and ruined buildings, which were once homes, or buildings where workers carried out shifts. She explores the contrast and relationship between decaying walls alongside memories and subtle remains from the lives that once touched them.

Graham Fink Lost in Acid Rain, 2020 Silverfoil, Watercolour and Archival Varnish on Paper Signed verso 15 x 10cm (5¾ x 3¾ in.) Multimedia artist Graham Fink is recognised as one of the world's most respected, and highly awarded, creative minds. Fink is a multimedia practitioner working in the fields of photography, film, painting, drawing and technology. His career over the years has been defined by never being entirely satisfied with the status quo, whether in the world of advertising, or in the world of art. Fink has long explored ideas of the subconscious and creativity through works spanning video, installation, photography, and painting, he tries to understand the principles behind artistic practices and new creative expressions. In 2001 he set up his own production company, the fink tank - a conceptual production company. Graham is a great believer in nurturing young talent and launched the art school in 2005 (described as Britain's most radical art school), holding sessions in venues as diverse as the House of Commons. This series of portraits are painted directly onto silver foil.   I use quite a lot of water as I like the way the colours are repelled and run across the surface. Being gently guided by my brush, they go on a kind of magical mystery tour.   I leave some areas free of paint to enable the silver to reflect back the environment.   An ever-changing portrait.

His portraits are countless and mostly depict citizens and courtiers, but there are also portraits of several kings of England, such as Charles I, Charles II and James II. The artist is described by his contemporaries as one of the most talented and prolific portrait painters who worked in England in the 1620s and 1630s. He was particularly accurate in the reproduction of clothing, which made him a virtuoso in this field. The two portraits of children whose identity is still unknown are proof of this.
