An early 20th century Murrle Bennet silver and pearl necklace, the planished silver cartouche with a slice of circular pearl set within, suspending a stylised openwork section with oval slice of pearl within and a baroque pearl drop, upon a fancy link white metal chain with toggle and circle fastening, pendant stamped ‘950’ ‘MBCo’ overall length 24cm Condition report:  The chain shows signs of wear with the elongated links slightly mishappen. Toggle clasp in good condition. The pendant shows minor scratches to front, commensurate of age and use. Reverse of pendant with blemishes and scratches. The 'pearls' with surface wear. Pendant would benefit from a clean.Pendant is 4.5cm long, 3cm wide at widest point.
