Royal Doulton pair of early 20th century baluster vases, each on a blue and buff ground with jewelled Persian floral motifs and decoration in blue, green and brown, incised EP for Emily Partington, impressed factory marks and 'Art Union Of London', h35cm, and a jug in similar colours decorated with tube lined white flowers, replacement silver cover, incised FR for Florence Roberts, h22cm (3 in lot) Overall condition good on all three pieces, no chips, cracks or restoration found. Some surface marks.
Archibald Knox for Liberty and Co set of six Art Nouveau silver and enamel coffee spoons and a pair of sugar tongs each with stylised leaf terminals, maker's mark L&Co, hallmarked Birmingham 1927, each spoon 11cm long Gross weight silver 110.9 gramsOn all six spoons there are surfaces scratches and chips to the enamel handles, the top of five of the spoons are missing small areas of the green enamel section Sugar tongs have small surface chips to the enamel on both sides and appear to be missing both top green sections of enamelling all items have light scratches to surface of silver
Royal Doulton Art Deco part tea service, with silver bands on a white ground, angular handles, pattern H4244, Rd. No 776716, to include teapot, h17cm, teapot stand, 9 cups, 10 saucers, 10 cake plates, cream jug, and sugar bowl. Also Grindley six square cake plates and a serving plate, decorated with red flowers and black transfer print. Condition on Royal Doulton:Overall condition good with little wear to silver rim or bands, no chips found. 1 cup has hairline crack to underside foot and resulting crazing. 1 cup has minor crazing to underside foot. 2 saucers have crazing to the well of the saucer. Cake serving platter has light surface scratches evident to the silver. Cake plates: 1 with very light surface scratches, 1 worn patch to the silver, 2 with crazing to base, 1 with hairline crack, 1 cracked right through (close to breaking off). Sugar bowl has minor thumb sized crazing to under side. Cream jug has very minor rubbing to silver on the spout. Teapot: lid is crazed. Mild wear to silver on uppermost handle. 1.5cm hairline crack to rim. Feint hairline crack curving from base upwards approx 7cm.See additional images.
Mary Wondrausch large slipware cider or wine flagon with wooden tap for 'The Silver Jubilee 1952-1977', decorated on one side with lion and unicorn and the other with stylised portrait of the queen holding orb and sceptre and labelled 'ER', monogrammed MW and 'Wharf Pottery' below handle, h40cm, along with two books by Mary Wondrausch on Slipware, inscribed and signed by the author. Overall condition good. Some crazing, no damage found.

Georg Jensen silver Moonlight Grape ring, no. 56, marked GJ 925S, ring size K, in original box silver weight 14 gramsring is not perfectly round it would fit a larger finger size. Inside ring diameter measures approximately 18mm The ring is in overall good condition, light scratches to silver surface. There is no obvious signs of previous damage or repair. Oxidised detailThis design has been used for several decades this example appears to be late 20th C but it is not possible to provide an exact date.
Great Britain - KGV : (SG 456a) 1935 Silver Jubilee 2½d, the famous Prussian blue, superb mint small hinge trace full fresh original gum example (light historical pencil annotation), fabulous fresh colour, perfs and centering. Unusually we've been fortunate to handle probably more than our fair share(!) of this rare colour error stamp within the past five years. Barely an example encountered is in top condition, most come with minor imperfection / blemish. This is the second time that we have handled this example, the first time realising precisely £10,000=. No faults example, accompanied by clear 1956 BPA Expert Committee photo-certificate signed by philatelic 'glitterati' Robson Lowe amongst others. As fresh today, 64 years later.
