A substantial & exquisite Belle Epoque circa 1840 French heart-form pomp brooch, gold with silver mounts set with approx 8+ carats of brilliant-cut diamonds crowned with a natural oriental pearl of 12mm. The brooch is heightened to the centre with a natural oriental button pearl of 7mm and three further natural oriental pearl drops of approx 12 to 14mm, the brooch measures approx 60 x 95 mm, approx 56.8 gms. Provenance: the brooch was given to the mother of the vendor by her brother when the family were residing in Berlin, originally purchased from Oscar Labiner Muchen with original brochure.

Judaica passover plate, Damascus, the brass plate inlaid with silver and copper, a cartouche portrays the sacrifice of Isaac by his father Jacob before the intervention of an angel, this central figure is surrounded by the twelve sons of Jacob (twelve tribes of Israel) Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issacher, Zebulan, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Joseph and Benjamin. The lower section of the plate is embossed with a bird with a sash in his beak, the plate having a geometric border with six cartouche with Hebrew inscription approx 32.5 cms.
