A SILVER-MOUNTED RECTANGULAR WOOD BOX AND COVER 18TH CENTURY Each of the corners with incised silver mounts shaped as stylised petals, the lockplate formed as the Gandaberunda, with two handles to the sides, the interior with four small drawers, 9cm x 41cm x 27cm. The Gandaberunda is a two-headed mythological bird and it was the symbol of the Wodeyar royal house of the Kingdom of Mysore.

A CHINESE BRONZE HU-SHAPED VASE 18TH CENTURY The ovoid body tapering towards the foot and surmounted by a gently flaring neck, cast in relief with taotie masks reserved on a key fret ground, the sides with two animal mask handles suspending loose rings, with areas of detail highlighted in gilt and inlaid silver, the base with a raised geometric design, all supported on a short spread foot, 31.2cm, 3.28kg.
TWO CHINESE MINIATURE SILVER INLAID BRONZE VESSELS AND COVERS MING DYNASTY One with a compressed circular body decorated with archaistic motifs in inlaid gold and silver, the cover cast in relief with a medallion of stylised dragons, the other with a flaring body shaped with two raised ribs, the three feet with inlaid silver wire decoration, with a wood cover, 8cm, 214g and 267g. (4) Provenance: from an Australian private collection, formed in the 1980s and 1990s.
