A pair of cloisonné Vases, c.1900, the almost globular bodies with panels of cranes on a stone ground or dragons on orange and with birds on flecked green, reserved on chocolate grounds with various diapers and florets, the cloisons in gold and silver, 18.3cm (2) CONDITION REPORT: No signatures or character marks to the base. One bird panel with small knock to tail, this is the left hand vase in the illustration and can be noticed as a bright spot on the birds tail and also the same vase has a 2cm x 2mm and a 1.7cm x 5/2 mm sliver of cloisonne missing from directly beneath the rim. One vase with chips to enamel on base. Very tiny chips to gadrooned border on base.

A pair of inlaid bronze Vases, late 19th century, each with a cockerel and hen under prunus, one gnarled stem in katakiribori techinique, the details inlaid in copper, silver and gold, stamped mark miyamoto, slight dents and scratches, depatinated, 19.6cm (2) CONDITION REPORT: Bronze polished. One vase with flat spot to base. Bottoms likely to have been later soldered.
A good silver Bowl, c.1880, by Nomura, the cylindrical body repoussé with chrysanthemum flowers and leaves on a hammered ground, the sides with two ear handles, also with flowers, engraved Nomura, stamped jungin and script mark, 15.8cm over handles CONDITION REPORT: No obvious faults. Weight: 292.6 grams (10.32oz). Double skin, no signs of repair. Handle 16cm. Height 84cm. Rim diameter 9.2cm.
A rare Jar and Cover, first half of the 17th century, painted and trekked in a rich underglaze blue, with panels of Daoist landscapes, reserved on a ground of scrolling foliage and flowers and smaller landscapes, the slightly flared foot with prunus blossom, the domed cover matching and contemporary, and with large ball knop, cracked, separated at the foot line, chips, 54cm (2) For a similar subject in the same style, see 'Transitional Wares', OCS of Hong Kong, 1981, pl.32. The use of lines to produce tones and the leaves can be seen on vases from the Vung Tau wreck of c.1690. The cover form with its large knop is taken from European silver and also appears on English delftware. 明十七世纪前半期 青花缠枝花卉纹开光山水人物故事图将军罐 CONDITION REPORT: Fritting to knop. Large hair line crack to top half. Luting has come apart. Full height crack to upper body, the bottom half with one large and numerous small rim chips (2cm and 1cm) at the luting. Small nibbles all around luting.

A Chinese ornamental jade Group, late Qing Dynasty, carved in 18th century style with a vessel amongst leafy branches of Buddha's finger citron with large and small fruits, and with a feng perched on a lingzhi, the head turned back and biting on a branch of peach, the stone of green-grey tone with russet speckling, one chip, 16.5cm, silver wire-inlaid hardwood stand (2) This scholar's desk object may have originally had a cover on the vase - or it may have been intended as a brush pot. 清末 青白玉雕青鸾献寿瓶 CONDITION REPORT: Chip to one frond of a fruit tendril, a hairline inclusion running laterally through the base of the carving. Vessel probably lacking a cover. Brown discolouration. Some slight abrasions and some sharp edges. Stand has missing end section and large deposits of soft composition (possibly to stick jade to stand). Possibly some old repairs, but hard to tell.

Snuff bottle: chips to rim. Aubergine: pitting to one side. Fish scales: small chip to tail fin.
