Wainwright of Warrington (no.52) and John Russell of Falkirk (no.171) (4) CONDITION REPORT: Pair case watch lacking outer case as stated, dial with chip beneath the I numeral, areas of discolouration and scratches, further scratches to case, vacant outer pear case dented and scratched throughout, both movements lacking hands, Russell movement with surface dirt and minor marks to face, all movements are untested.

CONDITION REPORT: William Green example with probably replaced hour hand and general surface wear to case, the reverse with circular raised imprint, the dial with minor scratches and surface dirt, the second watch lacking subsidiary seconds dial hand and with numerous cracks and chips to dial, the case dented and scratched throughout, William Green watch untested, second watch running at point of cataloguing but this is not a guarantee as to working order.

THOMAS RUSSELL & SON OF LIVERPOOL; a Victorian hallmarked silver cased open face crown wind chronograph pocket watch, the circular dial set with Roman numerals and outer ring of twenty-five intervals set with Arabic numerals and numbered 112394, Chester 1898, dial diameter 4.5cm (af), a similar chronograph and two further Victorian hallmarked silver pocket watches (4). CONDITION REPORT: Thomas Russell watch lacking glass and not running consistently when tested, remaining watches are all key wind, one has been tested and is not running, other two not tested, all watched with general surface wear including scratches and nicks throughout.

CONDITION REPORT: Watch is running at point of cataloguing but this is not a guarantee of working order, staining and minor chips to the dial, surface scratched and general wear throughout, some deterioration to outer leather of case, back missing, some minor dents, scratches and splits to silver mount of case.

Summersgill of Preston (no.1057). CONDITION REPORT: As stated the pear cased watches all in need or restoration with various and numerous faults including cracked dials, dented and split cases, untested movements etc, final pocket watch with hairline cracks to dial and dented case.
