A silver plated presentation inscribed champagne bucket, with a band of acanthus scrolls in relief, raised on a similarly embellished foot, inscribed ‘Presented to Sergt Percy Taylor, 1 7 Robin Hoods, for Shooting at Trent/ Killed in the Great War June 18th 1915’, marked for Walker and Hall. Sergeant Taylor of the 1/7th Battalion (T) Notts and Derby Regiment is commemorated at the Kemel Chateau military cemetery.

A Victorian artillery officer’s cocked hat, black moleskin with black and silver brocade bands and artillery button, silver bullion trim to each peak, screw fixed plume socket, in tin hatbox with metal outfitter’s label for Hobson & Sons Haymarket Lond W. and Artillery Place Woolwich; also with a single white feather plume.
A George III tortoiseshell and silver mounted oval magnifying glass with thick hinged glass and strapwork decoration, 7 x 5cm. CONDITION REPORT: There is a 1.5cm x 0.5cm section of tortoiseshell missing to the rim, there is a 1cm x 0.5cm flaw to the tortoiseshell which appears to be a deep surface gouge, there are two or three further small rim chips, there are also some misshaping to the silver rim of the glass, some surface scratches.
An Edwardian hallmarked silver mounted ivory tusk with hinged compartment to one end and silver cap to the other, and with vacant shield shaped cartouche, the mounts with engraved foliate decoration raised on silver wirework scrolling feet, Birmingham 1901, length 47cm.
