A Swaine, Adeney and Brigg tan leather briefcase with fitted red leather interior bears label in side, a leather travelling case moire silk lining and matching vanity case fitted with silver mounted cut glass bottles and a further leather suitcase CONDITION REPORTS The Swaine, Adeney and Brigg briefcase has some surface scratches and scuffs to the leather, accretions, some staining and fading and discoloration to the leather. There is a small area of loss to the leather on one of the front corners of the lid. The spring mechanism on one of the lock clasps is not working. The item has no key present. Some scuffs and scratches to the red leather interior. Some tarnishing to the brass fittings. Height is approx. 31.5 cm , width is approx. 43.5 cm, depth is approx. 8.5 cm. The leather travelling case with moire silk lining has numerous scuffs and scratches to the leather, accretions, some fading and discoloration in areas. The matching vanity case has some scuffs and scratches to the leather, some light scratches, knocks and dents and tarnishing to the silver mounts of the glass bottles. One of the silver mounts has broken and also there appears to be a couple of the items missing from vanity set. Height is approx. 32 cm, width is approx. 42 cm and depth is approx. 12 cm. The smaller leather briefcase has numerous surface scratches, scuffs and knocks to the leather. There is some discoloration and fading in areas. Splits and breaks to the leather of the handle. Scuffs and scratches to the leather on the inside. There appears to be some accretions, possibly mildew on the leather on the inside and some splits to the leather. Height is approx. 23.5 cm, width is approx. 35 cm and depth is approx. 9 cm. All items have wear and tear commensurate with age and use. See photos for more details
