A continental 800 standard silver vesta case, circa 1900, designed as a rectangular case enamelled with four vices, 4.5cm high CONDITION REPORT: This is possibly stamped 900, the marks to the interior lip of the case are worn, good snap on the hinge, the striker is worn, all the enamel vices are still recognisable with the top 'Moet' image with a crack in the top left hand corner, the bottom horse profile is excessivly worn, the woman and playing card enamels are in better condition but still show signs of wear commensurate to age and usage, overall the body of the piece has light surface scratching and wear concerntrated at the hinged cover, please see additional images to illustrate the aformentioned points.

An Art Deco silver gilt mounted tortoiseshell box, Charles Henry Dumenil, London c1917, of rectangular form with silver gilt hinged cover, 20cm W x 14.5cm D (at fault) CONDITION REPORT: There is a 2.5cm (approx) long blemish to the front right corner of the lid which has been repaired, It is not clear what has caused this but does seem to look like a blister that has been repaired. Minor small surface scratches, tortoiseshell slightly faded in appearance to both sides and back of the base. Clear hall marks to the hinges and the lock loop, the actual lock bar is not marked and the button to the front to open the lid is worn / scratched. A George V silver and enamel compact, Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1928, of circular form with blue enamelled hinged cover set to the interior with a mirror, gilt lined, 4.1cm diameter CONDITION REPORT: The hallmarks on the interior of the compact are clear and legible, the hinge is functioning, the clasp is functional, small surface scratches and wear to the silver and enamel commensurate with age and usage, there is one more noticeable dent to the edge of the cover, the interior mirror is in good condition, the gilt interior is slightly tarnished and worn. An Edwardian silver mounted claret Jug, Walker & Hall, Chester 1906, the jug of typical tapered form with wrythen lower section below a diamond cut band, the silver collar with hinged cover and thumb piece terminating with a angular handle, star cut base, 27cm high CONDITION REPORT: Hallmarks clear and legible both to the silver top and hinged cover, hinge functioning, surface scratching and wear commensurate with age and usage to both the cover and top, both would benefit from a good clean, visible glue line would indicate top may have been completely off glass body at some point, the glass itself has some scratching, wear and nibbled chips to the base as well as cloudy residue on the inside, no chips or nibbles to cut glass collar, glass is tarnished at point of contact with lower section of handle. An Edwardian silver box, Cohen & Charles, Chester 1906, of quatrefoil form with reeded ribbon detail and opening to reveal a vacant partially gilt interior, 8.3cm wide CONDITION REPORT: The hallmarks on the base are slightly worn but still legible, some signs of wear to the gilt interior, the piece has some light surface scratching and a few pin prick dents commensurate with age and usage, hinge cover is functional, the piece would probably benefit from a clean. An Edwardian silver photograph frame, J & R Griffin, Chester 1908,of shaped rectangular form embossed with foliate scroll and bird pattern, 28cm high CONDITION REPORT: Hallmarks legible but in need of a good clean, vacant cartouche with three larger dents as well as a few pin prick dents, the detailed border has extensive tears to its embossed work and is extensively dented on the corners and high points of the frame, a section of the top right hand corner motif has been completely severed and reattached at some point, at points the silver work is not connected with the wooden frame, the silver detail is very worn commensurate with age and usage, the piece would benefit from a good clean. The wooden frame is held together securely but has two pairs of holes to one side, the metal back clips are functional. Please see additional images to illustrate points.

An Edwardian novelty silver stamp case, A & J Zimmerman, Birmingham 1909, in the form of a chest of two drawers, engraved 'KM 1910', 4.6cm high, with a further stamp holder in the form of an envelope, Chester 1903, 3cm wide (2) CONDITION REPORT: Hallmarks to both are slightly warn but still legible, the stamp case appears in generally good condition with both hinges functioning, possible solder repairs to the legs, a few pin prick dents are visible notably to the legs and bottom rim, the stamp holder also has several pin prick dents, hinge is functioning, both have surface scratches and signs of wear throughout commensurate with age and useage, please see additional images to illustrate aforementioned points.
A silver vesta Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1911, of cushion form and depicting a greyhound in relief, 5cm wide, weight 37.8gms CONDITION REPORT: Overall condition good, hallmarks clear and legible both to the hinged cover and interior of the case, good snap and striker is in good condition, greyhound relief appears in good condition with details still visible, minor surface scratching throughout commensurate with age and useage.
