Birmingham and London 1899 of compressed ovoid form with angular handles the teapot with a strainer sleeve and a flat cover with ebony finial and handle the teapot 23.5cm (9.25in) long 819g (26.25 oz) gross This service is evidently the work of Dr Christopher Dresser who produced designs for the firm from 1881 to 1893. Each has a scratch mark under N: 959 and the teapot an additional stamp 1878.
