WWII – Autograph – Otto Meissner rare document signed July 23rd 1938 awarding a silver medal to Robert Franz Spatz. Rare: Otto Meissner had a remarkable career being a leading minister throughout the Weimar Republic the administration of Hindenburg and then finally Hitler. He was perhaps the only person at that level to come from the previous administrations survive being murdered by the Hitler gang and then survive the Third Reich. He was indicted for war crimes but charges against him were dropped and he died in 1953 – his son Hans-Otto Meissner became a leading German author.
