Two Art Nouveau Silver and Enamel Hat Pins, by Arthur Johnson Smith, each with a triskelion motif in blue guilloche enamel, to circular frames, 3cm in diameter (2) see illustration The hat pins are in good to fair condition, each with slight dents to the frames, the enamel is in good condition, the pins are rusted. One pin has a hinged pin, allowing the top to pivot, the other has the pin resoldered into a fixed postition. The hinged example is hallmarked with maker's mark 'AJS', for Arthur Johnson Smith, Chester, 1909, the other is hallmarked with maker's mark 'AJS', for Arthur Johnson Smith, Birmingham, 1909.
